The Power of Purpose

Have you found your purpose? Are you feeling grounded about it? Do you possess clarity, courage and bravery around where you are going and what you are going to do?

Purpose Mapping

Craig developed purpose mapping to help get people’s lives into alignment. He came up with it at a time when he had accomplished all those things he thought he wanted. Despite the accomplishments, he was walking away from it all.  He decided to go a different path. He sat with this acceptance for 9 months and this process had emerged. Influenced by Tony Robbins and other such philosophers and coaches, he found they all had a similar message: start with a clear WHY. When you have THAT- you can bear any HOW.

Applying Your Purpose

Purpose = WHO I am and WHY I am here. The strategic component is about grounding it in a way that serves as a contribution so that you may embody your purpose in your day to day life.

Cultivate  Daily Practices to Increase Your Dopamine Levels

We must all ask ourselves, “What are the daily practical and tactical things I need to do to hit that level of dopamine that will allow me to execute the action steps every day?” Craig says, even if we just hit that for a minute every day, it adds up every day and changes our brain chemistry. It changes our perspective on the world, how we see it and what we think we are capable of.

Maintaining Flow State

Flow is that experience of being in a lucid state of consciousness. Think back to a time when you were performing your best and feeling your best- that’s a flow state. Executives in a flow state are literally 500% more productive. This is becoming a competitive advantage in business.

How Purpose Mapping Works

It’s about taking these parts of ourselves and putting them into boxes. there is the “being” side of a person’s experience; there’s the “doing” side of a person’s experience. there are ways of being that feel better or feel worse. those 4 quadrants map out psychological wholeness. Brene Brown highlights those aspects of us we hide, suppress or deny. seeing it allows us to put back on the table so we can begin to TAP THE POWER. taking all this in the direction of our strengths will get us in the flow state. where the inner critic shuts off and we go into our genius zone.

Purpose. Autonomy. Mastery. If a leader can give their team members that experience, they will be loyal, productive, happy. this is good for society as a while. Getting into the genius zone is what we are wired for.

The Difference Between Purpose and Mission

Purpose is the reason we exist. Our mission is that big hairy audacious goal that we align our lives around.

Leaders need to help their teams clarify the goal as distinct from who they are and why they are here. They’ve got to make sure they are in alignment. If they are not, Leaders have a responsibility to help them move on.

In this episode we’ll cover:

  • What Purpose Mapping is
  • How to apply your purpose and serve others
  • Cultivating a daily practice
  • Getting into your genius zone
  • Identifying what you are wired for

Russ Perry wants you to ask yourself what is making your life hard. Are you willing to give that up?  For Russ, it was his relationship with alcohol. It was holding him back from being the best he could be. What are you addicted to? What is holding you back from living a life? On this episode we talk about the myths we buy into as entrepreneurs and how to create a business based on our values. This episode is about how to feeling fulfilled now and not later.

Target Audience: Russ has always been an avid technology and creative nut. He serves his target audience by providing them straightforward, easy to use graphic design help. He works with a wide range of people, from mom’s getting their businesses off the ground to leaders and consultants who’ve been in business for a while.

The Sober Entrepreneur

Russ’s book is called The Sober EntrepreneurThe book was inspired by the challenges he was facing as an adult related to addiction, stress, and family life.

The book’s title and concept represents the literal struggle he personally had with alcohol addiction. It also represents the metaphorical addiction that certain people have to other things such as work for example. But really, addiction can be felt for many things. The point is, we put blinders on to avoid conflict because we assume we don’t want the challenge we are dealt with. But instead of dealing with the challenge, we avoid them.

The Myths We Are Sold

One of the beliefs we hold is: “Balance will come after the success.” Russ found himself working so much (one of the intentions being so that he could provide for his family). What ended up happening was that he experienced an insane amount of stress. He then masked the stress with alcohol which amplified the stress even more. Ultimately he admits that he self destructed. Everything he was working towards eroded away because of the lifestyle he had created.

He even had an affair and that’s when he knew he hit rock bottom. Getting caught by his wife sobered him up really quickly! He decided he needed a new way and a new path. So, he changed his course and tackled his addiction first.

Having a Fully Integrated and Healthy Business

Russ knew what he valued most was family. So, he structured his business to enable those values. So ask yourself: How can I design a life and a business that supports my values?

Practical and Actionable:

Identify something you are addicted to in your life. It could be anything from alcohol, to working too much. Take a look at what things are making your life harder. The simple decision to just not do those things will great massive positive impact.

In this episode we’ll cover:

  • Myths we buy into as entrepreneurs
  • Identifying addictions
  • Creating a business based on values
  • Building an integrated and healthy biz
  • Feeling fulfilled now not later

Getting too comfortable is a problem. In fact, it may be the reason why you are “fine” or “OK” with your life or business right now. You have heard about getting outside your comfort zone. Well, our guest today is a master at this. He wrote the book on it. Andy Molinsky shares wisdom to help you grow and evolve. This is a big show…lean in.

Share the LOVE and TWEET about this episode.

Target Audience: Andy serves multiple types of people. He is a professor at Brandeis University in the business and psychology department. He is a business author, who consults teaches and trains.

Why did You Have to Write your Book: Reach?

Andy shares that the message in the book Reach was something that was inside of him already. It is about how he has and continues to step outside his comfort zone. Andy believes that his struggles are what allowed him to be more finely attuned to the challenges of stepping out comfort zones.

As an author, he chose to write on a topic where he encountered the most trouble. It is where the greatest insights and motivations come from.

What keeps people inside their comfort zones? People fear they may lack:

  • Authenticity
  • Competence
  • Likability
  • Morality

Living with Conviction

Courage is not the absence of fear. Courage is the ability to take action in spite of fear. That is why Andy says we must live life with much Conviction. It is important that we are able to stick with discomfort.

If we have identified and feel our deep sense of purpose we automatically know our why. Knowing WHY you are interested in doing something that scares you keeps your momentum going when things get tough.

In this episode we’ll cover:

  • Cultivating conviction to get us through obstacles
  • Learning about customization
  • Becoming clear on your WHY
  • Choosing courage despite the fears
  • What keeps people in their comfort zones (& how to avoid this)

Practical and Actionable:

The third element (which comes after Conviction & Customization) is: Clarity

  1. Take out 3 pieces of paper (or create 3 sections somehow).
  2. Write down: Worst case scenario, best case scenario and realistic case scenario.
  3. Put a “likelihood” rating on it on a scale of 1-10. How likely is it that this will occur?
  4. Rate all 3.

What usually happens with this is: you stop fixating on the worst case scenario (and realize it is unlikely) and then you begin to have a grounded perspective. Don’t fixate on the worst or best case scenario. This helps to ground you in the present.

273 | How to Be More of You with Taki Moore

The process of growth and achieving more in business is often a study of others. We begin to look at their way of growing and even mimicking their way of showing up. However, it is common to lose touch in who you are.  The best path to a new destination is to be more of you. Taki Moore, master coach and coach to coaches, shares insights on why being YOU is so important. And Taki is certainly someone that is at home being Taki.

Share the LOVE and TWEET about this episode.

Target Audience: Taki serves coaches and consultants. Specifically he serves those who want to grow and scale their businesses. By guiding them into doing something more scalable they are then able to help more people, have more fun and make more money.

Be The Choice

Decide who you can do your best work with. This is less about marketing and more about a message. Below, Taki shares what he helps clients do to decide who they serve in TWO minutes. Get a sheet of paper and TRY it for yourself! Write down your 3 target market groups and use these 3 Q’s:

  1. Do I like them? Would I still be thrilled in 4 years or are am I just doing it for the cash? Am I truly passionate?
  2. Can I help them? Can I get them the outcome they really want? Have I done it myself? Have I helped others get it? Or have I learned more about it than most?
  3. Will they pay?

Further validate and narrow down your niche based on the conversations you have with people. Marketing to that specific WHO simplifies the marketing process.

SO, What Happens Once You’ve Got Your WHO?

How can you build a simple funnel to reach those guys?

Magnet: How do we gain permission to stay in touch: “The 4 forces” – determining their hot buttons – what is really important to them? Taki breaks it down into 4 quadrants: Frustrations & Fears vs. Wants and Aspirations.

Elements of Authority

Do a better job of articulating problems and solutions. In terms of messaging, there are really only 3 things to talk about: problems, promises and processes. The best marketing is just about teaching your process. You want to be the person saying something so profound that people lean in. You don’t have to yell. In fact you lose people when you are noisy about it.

Knowing how to be YOU

There are people who jive with you and others who don’t. Taki shamelessly runs all his workshops barefoot not because it’s branding but because it is comfortable. The ability to be authentically naturally you is important. While you are doing what you are doing, who are you being? Who are you at your best? Asking yourself these questions helps you to amplify your best self.

It’s hard to be yourself- but you can trick yourself. It’s when we talk about our businesses that we morph into someone else. Forget about presenting yourself and start talking to a real person. That is Taki’s camera trick. On stage- those people are actually there. And then for emails, he’s got a client that he keeps in mind.

In this episode we’ll cover:

  • How to be your AUTHENTIC self
  • Hacks to uncover the REAL YOU
  • The core elements of Messaging
  • Identifying WHO you serve according to Taki
  • What to do once you’ve identified your WHO

Practical and Actionable:

Showing up as yourself: you at your best. Use 3 words to describe that person. Where is a place you’d love to show up more like that?

272 | Making Life Matter Now with Cole Hatter

Business has a tendency to wrap us up into our numbers and all the growth aspects of the company. However, one reason we are all in business is to give back in some way. I believe you should give back now. Our guest today is Cole Hatter. Cole is the founder and host of a major conference about making life matter, THRIVE. In the interview, he shares his journey of making millions and realizing that he can do so much more than he was doing.

Share the LOVE and TWEET about this episode.

Target Audience: Cole serves Entrepreneurs who want to learn to invest and create businesses that don’t just make money but also make a difference.

THRIVE

The Event came about as a result of the growing theme of entrepreneurs who as they are building their businesses, wake up one day and realize they’d “ARRIVED.” This specific group of people also knows there is a lot of life left (despite that feeling of “arrival”).

They are wondering what else there is.  On a trip to Mexico, Cole realized the core reason he wanted to make serious money back in the U.S was so that he could give back in a meaningful way.

He recognized that Entrepreneurs are thirsty for purpose and ultimately this is what catalyzed the first THRIVE event and what kept it going every year. His life became better because so many people become impacted. The very fact that this is part of the business conversations and culture- excites him to continue working.

Mindset Struggles Preventing Wealth

People are energetically asking for permission rather than really going for it. There are different fears: fear that money will change their identity, that rich people are bad, letting people down by letting things go (like quitting school or leaving a job)- there are millions of reasons. Ultimately, people need to give themselves permission.

In this episode we’ll cover:

  • How to create a biz around what moves you
  • Why making lots of money is a good thing
  • What hold people back from making the big bucks
  • Why entrepreneurship is about impacting the lives of many
  • How to give yourself permission to live a life you love

Practical and Actionable:

For listeners who have a business or are in the process of creating one, find something in the world that resonates with you deeply. Make your business impact that community.

Christine Hassler, author of the book Expectation Hangover gets vulnerable about how she found true happiness. In using the experience of a crisis, she found the excuse to go through a soul transformation. Now she helps others do the same! On this episode, we talk about how the way to do truly impactful work is by answering our own inner calling. It is about understanding that the answers cannot be found anywhere outside of ourselves.

Share the LOVE and TWEET about this episode.

Target Audience: Christine travels the globe hosting retreats and speaks at events. She helps people answer the vital questions of: Who am I? What do I want? How do I get it? And What’s the impact I want to make?

After a quarter life crisis and several personal and professional losses, Christine decided to reorient her life. She realized she had been seeking happiness outside herself. Yet, she finally understood happiness could only be found from within. This understanding totally flipped her orientation and perspective on life.

Expectation Hangover (Christine’s published book)

What was aching inside that made the book happen? Christine shares that the stream of crises provided a huge window of opportunity for transformation to occur. It’s what Christine calls the “Expectation hangover.” We want to get out of the feeling of pain, disappointment as quickly as possible. Some of us see it as an opportunity for healing. It is a chance to get out of destructive cycles you may be repeating.

When it comes to heartache, (in business or personal) ‘quick fixes’ don’t really cut it. This, Christine wanted to create a holistic and comprehensive book that serves as a treatment plan to help people heal from some of their deepest pains.

On a soul level, it is important to feel in touch with our gifts, like we are leaving behind a legacy. At the core, each of us wants to create something that is meaningful. The hard part is that we are wired and taught how to achieve success externally and logistically. We are not taught to know what success really feels like on an internal level. We’re not taught how to look at our own shadows.

To do impactful work, we have to be clear. We need a solid foundation. It is easy to build a business that makes money but not as easy to build something truly connected to who we are on the soul level.

Sometimes we need an expectation hangover to get ourselves in gear. But sometimes we are afraid of making the changes because of the unknown future. And then, the universe might bring us that expectation hangover because something needed to change. All in all, we are the ones who manifest the changes in our lives.

Activating People to Move Forward with More Clarity

What Christine first does to help her clients is identify their compensatory strategy. As babies we were totally whole. Then life events caused us to have these compensatory strategies in attempts to feel that wholeness again. For example becoming a people pleaser or an over achiever are 2 examples of a compensatory strategy. The motivation stems from a place of lack. This way of living is unsustainable if true happiness and fulfillment is what one seeks.

What is motivating your success, truly? Does it stem from some pain? Shift to the possibility of what you could create based on INSPIRATION rather than MOTIVATION. That changes the context of what SUCCESS really means!

What’s the difference between INSPIRATION VS. MOTIVATION

Motivation- IS a drive and a push. Often people are hard on themselves and they don’t even realize it. Pressure- very heady and stems from an external rather than internal.

Inspiration – is about feeling. It is an inner CALLING. There are feelings of excitement, enthusiasm and resonance with who you are. Inspiration comes from vision and moves us forward. It has a much lighter quality while also having momentum.

In this episode we’ll cover:

  • Seeking happiness from within
  • Using crisis for transformation
  • How to do impactful work
  • Answering our Souls’ inner calling
  • INSPIRATION VS. MOTIVATION

Practical and Actionable:

Get out a piece of paper. Mark it 1-5
Write down your top 5 core values. Most can’t do it. Or perhaps they haven’t given it a lot of thought. Our values are our compass. That’s how we know what we are inspired by. Before making decisions, check in to see if the decision lines up with those values. Write down your vision. Use your imagination productively. Rather than worry, create a positive vision. Write it, see it, feel it every day. Let your vision be your gas to pull you forward.

Living for comfort is a mistake. Yes…if you seek comfort in all that you do, you will fail to grow and navigate the challenges of life. This interview is all about understanding your comfort zone and stepping outside that zone so that you grow. Dr. Liz Bywater is our guest who shares her views on the comfort zone.

Share the LOVE and TWEET about this episode.

Target Audience: Dr. Liz Bywater works with leaders across the Fortune 500 companies. She serves leaders and teams. The focus is always on helping them do their best work. It is about elevating performance, being more effective, making the right decisions and getting things done.

Transitions in Roles: Moving Out of Comfort Zones

Dr. Liz has a passion for Leadership teams. She loves to guide individual leaders in pulling together their teams. This could be a matter of hiring new people – re-organizing the team or even helping the team to understand the overall vision and direction. Also very important is that they have good ground rules for working with one another.

Whether it is a parallel move or any other type of move, there will always be new ways you must learn to have impact.

What’s in the way of making a transition or that next step for most people?

People are in a role for a certain period of time. One gets to know where their strengths are and probably risen to a leadership level based on expertise. At each step we are being pushed farther and farther beyond our intrinsic comfort zones. According to Dr. Liz, you have to try new things and interact with people in different ways. You have to communicate on a higher level.

Sometimes you are asked to transition into a role that’s exciting yet intimidating. You are required to utilize certain leadership skills you may have not learned. Or those skills could be sitting in you waiting to come out and you just don’t know it yet!

The Concept Behind the Infamous Comfort Zone

There’s lots of validity around the idea according to Dr. Liz. However, whatever degree of comfort there may be, there is always room for the potential to stretch. But who we are at our core (our confidence) determines so much. Dr. Liz is all about the ‘fake it until you make it’ idea. She says, show people you know what you are doing. People will see the confidence you are projecting. Get intentional about what is you want to grow.

Get out of the worry place in your head. Get excited and ready to go. You can do this on a daily basis. Take a pause and a breath at some time in your office so that you are prepared, posed and confident about what you are about to deliver. Prepare yourself to engender the confidence of the people around you.

We’re living in a world where people have never felt more rushed and there’s no way to sugar coat it. People are running around as if there is a fire everywhere. This is not a sustainable model or a growth model for individuals. And while it is a challenge, it is not an insurmountable challenge.

A “Forced Pause”: What a session with Dr. Liz Bywater looks like…

Dr. Liz asks her clients: What are you trying to achieve and what are the best actions- what will get you to your end goal?

Ask yourself: What on items could be tackled your calendar today that will help me get to my goal more quickly? And what can I take off? By deciding what to take off, I’m deciding if this is something that I have to do or someone else has to do.  Take it off your plate. Also the question of when is of essence? Will it be now? Later? Never? This helps one to come up with real strategic ways to do things to move forward more rapidly.

The Inner Game

The inner game is essential. Your inner belief system determines how you decide the actions you take.

Dr. Liz holds up a mirror to people – so they can understand their own impact. She asks about 8-10 people in the company questions about her client. This gives insight into how the client is coming across.

The Model Dr. Liz uses: “PRP”

PAUSE- assess where you are and where you have been

REFLECT- take the time to look at what you bring to the table; what are the gaps?

PROJECT- Taking action. Identify and determine how you will reach your goal

Why Executives Dr. Liz?

Dr. Liz chose to work with executives because they are motivated and want to take action. She finds them to be smart, motivated and interesting. Likewise, they can impact those who work all around them. The culture they set has major impact. The impact is broad, wide, deep and thus meaningful!

Practical and Actionable

Write down your PRP. Decide to take a deliberate pause  (determine how much time you’d like to take out for this). Take a deep dive and develop your strategy using this model. Create your dynamic plan.

We all have times in our lives that force us to question the path we are on. We all have moments that make us choose a new direction. I have seen this for myself. And I have watched it in hundreds of others. This is about reinvention. Our guest today is Mike Pisciotta with Marketing Your Purpose. He shares his moment of reinvention that happened while in jail.

Share the LOVE and TWEET about this episode.

Target Audience: Mike and his wife serve speakers, coaches and trainers or to those selling information on transformation. They are guided with funnel design, funnel optimization and Facebook ads (mainly).

Mike’s Story of Awakening

At age 18, Mike woke up in a jail cell with no recollection of how he got there. In that moment, it was like a brick wall hitting him. The first 18 years of his life were spent in a negative home environment surrounded by drugs. However, in that moment, something changed. Suddenly he experienced the realization of where he was and decided to make a choice to change.

He was sentenced to 10 years. And he decided to use every moment of his TEN YEARS (yes, ten years) to use the prison system to renew his perspective. He DECIDED to  immerse himself in spiritual and physical development. He spent time learning about business and studied the markets.

10 years of “freedom” were gone. But he was not going to give them 10 years of life. He knew in his core that it didn’t mean he had to give them his life. He decided he was going to live. This type of choice was not made by most of the guys around him. In contrast, they threw in the towel. But Mike was different. He still felt he had a chance and knew he could do something with his time.

The Power of Choice

No matter what life hands us, we always have a choice. We have a choice to move things forward and to change things. Your present state is not what defines you. This is about Owning your faults. It is about Owning the choices you’ve made and wherever that may have brought you now. This takes a Shifting of the responsibility from the external to the internal.

Getting Uncomfortable

When we find ourselves in a state of dissatisfaction, we can use it to put fuel in the fire for transformation. Change the cycle. But, people stay in a cycle because it’s comfortable. Expanding and growing yourself is a lot more uncomfortable. What choice will you make?

Mike admits that he knew this was not something he committed to just one day- but every day. Consistency and dedication are required. There are always challenges. That commitment to press forward allows for the building up of  a legacy.

Practical and Actionable:

OWN wherever you are in your business. Own that it is there and that you are there. Own the fact that it is the way it is because of the choices you have made or have not made. Then, make the CHOICE to change that and begin taking steps in a different direction. Use what you don’t like as an excuse to create transformation.

Our Guest today is Tucker Max, CEO and author of Book in a Box. The philosophy at Book in a Box highlights that the best way to get an idea into the world, is through a book. The problem most people face is that books take too much time to write, and the traditional publishing process can be tedious and frustrating. Tucker shares with us the foundational values all authors must have when writing a book.

Target Audience: Tucker is the CEO of Book in a Box where ideas are turned into books. The company targets Business Owners, C Level Executives, Coaches and Consultants. Specifically, these are people who have important or valuable ideas they want to get out into the world.

Why You Should Not Write a Book

Be sure the desire to write a book is not coming from an egoistic place, says Tucker. Especially if you don’t have anything to say that’s valuable. Publishing a book should have nothing to do with ego and vanity. Also, Tucker warns his clients about having the wrong expectations. If you are doing it because you are planning to create best seller, you’re setting yourself up for disillusionment. It’s not that it can’t happen, Tucker says. It’s just not where you should be coming from. The intention should always be about providing value to your audience.

So Who Should Write a Book?

For a lot of businesses, it is one of or the best marketing tools they can create. Publishing a book has the potential to establish your authority and give credibility for what you know. It differentiates you. Books are the new “college degree.” Trust is another aspect gained. It gives business owners a way to jump ahead of the pack.

BIG IDEA Books vs. Teaching & How to Books

Tucker highly recommends people do not write big idea books. WHY? Because it is not niched. Remember, trying to serve everyone does not work (most of the time). And it is easier and more efficient to talk to 10,000 people than 10 million people.

How Book in a Box Works

Tucker’s company has a Systematic and Algorithmic way of turning people’s concepts into books. No content is added (the way a Ghostwriter may serve an aspiring author).
The system includes Interviewing people for 15-20 hours over the span of 5-6 months. This allows the author to get everything out of their head. They essentially translate it. Then they position it by understanding what result is desired along with what audience you want to get that result. It is then structured and outlined in about 15-20 pages.

Authors are then interviewed based on that outline. The outline is transcribed from the spoken word into book prose. When manuscripts are completed and approved based on the client, the publishing process begins.

Practical and Actionable:

The 3 step process to qualify for Book in a Box. Here are 3 questions to ask yourself. Do you meet the requirements?

  1. What result must i get for this book to be worthwhile to me?
  2. What audience must i reach to achieve that goal? There must be a primary audience (those that would book your speaking gigs) and a secondary audience (those people who would attend your speaking event)
  3. Understanding what you have to say that is interesting and valuable to that audience. It should be unique by definition.

Our guest, Daniel Battan is the founder of “Beyond The Ceiling.” Daniel saw that the problem existent within many entrepreneurs was that they saw a “ceiling” for themselves – or in other words, a limited potential that could be reached. However, the “ceiling” is NOT the ultimate potential one can reach. There is ALWAYS more (think: “the sky”). Beyond The Ceiling is about stepping outside and realizing that there is no ceiling in your capabilities. It is unlimited! Daniel brings a very grounded approach that can be used by entrepreneurs.

Target Audience: Daniel serves Serial/Tech Entrepreneurs who want to become visionary leaders.

Daniel focuses on entrepreneurs. He saw an opportunity in the sector and aims to bring new standards to the entrepreneurial field. There are always skills and mindset capabilities to improve upon. However he saw that many tech entrepreneurs were missing this one key piece in their business: Growing the person who ran it the business.

New Zealand: A Place of Innovation… HOWEVER…

Daniel’s home country of New Zealand is comprised of a society that is quite self reliant being that it is geographically isolated. However- he often saw that people do not believe in ourselves and/or do not believing in other people. His mission is to build the nation’s GDP (Increase Gross Domestic Confidence). And he’s doing it one person at a time- and beginning with the entrepreneurial community.

Daniel serves entrepreneurs who are at a conundrum- they have had financial successes but are now wondering where their happiness has gone. They have lost their sense of purpose and contribution to the world. They are rich in poor ways.

Why choose Confidence for ourselves and those around us?

Because, Daniel says, it makes a better world! There is nothing worse than a life that lacks confidence. The consequence? Regret! Lots of it! With confidence you can do the things you want to do.

The Power of Personal Development is rooted in healthy self esteem. In school in and in life in general,  we’re taught that success is about the result and many people end up chasing a result. However, this is not the meaning of happiness. And without happiness, what is the significance of success?

We gain confidence from the actions we perform today. These actions should be in line with who we truly are.

Practical and Actionable:

  1. A Practical step stems from 2 things. First, the art of confidence is a mindset. It is NOT about trying to change things about yourself. Always aim to serve. Keep in mind that self doubt is not actually a problem. Don’t suddenly judge yourself for having self doubt. Rather, acknowledge it- ask yourself is it true and useful? Make a conscious choice to take action in that state. Transform the state that you notice you are coming into confidence.
  2. Know what you are doing. Master your craft. Over prepare for those moments. Know yourself so well that you are speaking from the heart.
